Ok so FOX have filed a claim against my star wars episode one video. I have decided to dispute it but as yet there has been no reply and there might not be one for a while. For now it means that I may as well take down the page for the video. Will put it back up once this mess is settled.

I have to say its a bit annoying. As far as I know (and admittedly I could be wrong) FOX has the distribution rights for the movies but the games are still the sole property of lucasarts. Im not sure at all though. Im not exactly up on the state of Star Wars IP. Of course it doesnt matter who has the rights to make a claim or not because the way Im using the material is covered under fair use. After all a Lets Play is more of an in depth review. Extremely in depth. Anyway watch this space for more news.

Got my hands on a new computer thanks to my wonderful girlfriend. Just gotta wait on a monitor arriving sometime over the next week or so to get it up and running properly.

Its really annoying how rare it is to see a 5:4 compter monitor. Everything now is 16:9 and it may be great for watching videos and whatnot but the average 16:9 screen doesnt have enough vertical space for my liking. Anyway soon there shall be an increase in LPs and LP quality. And the fanciness of the games too.

So its like every other week theres a new indie bundle to buy these days. On the one hand you have the most well known of all which is the series of humble bundles that have been mentioned on slashdot a number of times. You also then have a very similar offering from indie gala which is more set up for sharing as they have multiple gift price levels for the purchases. Pay x amount get y gifts. And then of course you have Indie Royale which throws a new bundle at you roughly every fortnight.

I love all these bundles. My steam game list is populated almost exclusively by games gotten through these bundles. Well theres a few that were bought the old fashioned way ie full(ish) price. Yay for steam sales btw.

Anyway theres currently a new Indie Gala bundle on offer. Indie Gala IV. You can head on over to http://www.indiegala.com and check it out some nice stuff in the bundle. Get on over and pick up a copy. I already got mine.

So some people might wonder why I am watermarking for The Replay Lounge and not for this site. Well I only just got this site on a whim when getting another site started up so theres that. Also the lounge is just starting out and needs all the help it can get to grow. Currently its at over 500 members and slowly growing every day but its still got a long way to go. Development is slow with the staff all falling victim to mysterious illnesses but things will be advancing there soon enough methinks.

Thats all well and good but why them and not here? Well this will just be a small place to air my thoughts and to make minor updates. I will mention it a good bit in my vids if there is reason to do so but I want to support the lounge more than I want to beg people to come here. If people wanna come here they will and if not they wont have to have it rammed down their throats every time they watch one of my videos. What about ramming the lounge down their throats? Well theyre more likely to forgive me for that since theres so many great LPers there they can chat with and check out.

PS I added all my current playlists to the site and just need to add some descriptions for each game and a graphic for each one. I’ll get to it.

So here we are now folks with a brand new website. Its all fancy isnt it. Well this here site will be a good place for me to ramble and post all sorts of nonsensical crap as well as genuine informative things such as updates on my LPs.
